Michael’s talents as an accomplished artist in New York area as well as nationally have spanned over two decades. His wide range of artistic training has led him to enjoy working best realist painting. He’s been frequently commissioned to create portraits for private and public collections but also has a wonderful career painting for the advertising and publishing companies in the US as well as abroad.

Michael Apice has been an Illustrator,art director and graphic designer for the last 15 years creating images for many clients including :

AT&T, NASA, Disney, Gerber Life, Elle Girl, Sesame Street, Pampers, Fisher Price, Parents Magazine, Huggies, Carter’s ,Kohls, Muscular Dystrophy, East Side Lenders, BistroMD, Viacom, Paramount, Simon & Schuster, Readers Digest, Pearson Learning, Seagram’s, Infinity Broadcasting 92.3 K-Rock, U.S. Navy, Sci Fi Channel, Wizards of the Coast, Greenpeace, Cancer Care, Catholic Arch Diocese of Rockville Centre, N.Y., Dennis Miller Live Show, Mad Dog Comics, Scholastic Publishing, Silverback Comics, D.C. Comics, National Coalition against Domestic Violence, Briarcliffe College and Queensborough Community College.  

Michael’s work is featured in a New York City Gallery in Chelsea and has been in many national and international shows.

In the past, Michael has also held the position of President for the New York
chapter of the Graphic Artists Guild, 1996-97. He is currently a active member and continues to be a strong advocate for artist’s rights.
