Hello, I’m a painter and in my studio in leiden, Netherlands, I create portraits and free work.

In my free work I always work with a theme. Typical Dutch things, the Beach, laundry are some of my inspirations and I also like playing with rhythm, form, composition and...humor.

The portraits I make with much fun and satisfaction. During the process I feel I really get to know my subject, which makes portraying so interesting. Not only the resemblance and the character of the portrait are important. I want to make a painting that intrigues and is well painted.
I'm blessed with assignments from all over the country, so very lucky!
