A statement from artists often tends to be pretentious. What you are creating is always a long process that takes time and it´s not that easy to comment or fully explain. Painting is a form of communication. I am happy if the viewer can spend some of his time to just reflect. Essentially, a painting should create some form of interest, not simply an illustration. Most importantly, a painting should only be viewed by the eyes of the beholder. If you just are searching for something beautiful use a camera on the sunset.
