Waterfalling

I've been known to travel as far away as Europe for content in my paintings. In this case, however, I had to travel no further than my own backyard and the garden waterfall I created several years ago where the steps to our filled-in swimming pool had been. Rocks in the foreground were created using modeling paste superimposed out onto the frame in keeping with a long-standing habit of liking to "break the frame" in my work. The painting is 12"x24" acrylic on stretched canvas.
