really like your horse potrait the way you have captured the affect of natural light emmiting from a small window perhaps or door slightly open allowing a small amount of light to fall on the side of the horses face in a dark stable works well to create an atmosheric painting.

Thank you, Ken,

I love animals and enjoyed viewing your pastels, especially the bears fighting.  You captured them with spirit.

HI Carol  I  absolutely  love your painting of this horse .  As a person who  has had horses in my life,I  Like how you have  could a cheeky moment perhaps when the horse pop his head out of the dark.I  had a horse  who always use to hide in the dark of his stable and it reminds me of  him. But what I also like about you composition  is the complete calmness you  capture in the horse face he almost like he will keep coming right at you .thanks for sharing your painting .From Yvette in Australia
