Adams, Jr. - This is side 3 of the 3 portals on this stabile; all Loren Adams Stabiles have three sides representing; 1. The Natural World, 2. The Cultural World, 3. The Spiritual World. This is the second in a series of 12 stabiles. This Objet d'art has an 11 ft. rosewood carousel that is motorized to make one revolution per minute. It was over 16 years in the akin and it weighs over 1,500 pounds. The side is the Cultural side and the Title is: "The last perfect day of mid-summer, Lemuria; The day the mountains were raised…"
