24" x 36" acrylic on hardboard. Completed in 2012. This is a painting that I was inspired to do by the seemingly never ending winters in MN. I always think of the cold wind blowing and the way the snow gets blown around by that very wind. Most of the snow that falls here in MN, is the light fluffy blowing snow. So I wanted to capture that feeling in the painting.
