Works mainly in oils, same acrylics, also black and white ink drawings, mostly of homes. Paints portraits, still lifes, but her favorite is the landscape.
Majoring in art in High School, then took painting lessons with Ernest Zurcher while working. She took night classes at Pratt University, the Art Students League in N.Y.C. and many other various workshops over the years. Currently painting with Al Camurati in Doughlaston and Ralph Acosta doing plein air, and on her own.
She is past President of the Floral Park Art League and on the Board of the Art League of Nassau County and the National Art League. Carol has received awards? Best in Show, Special Award, First Place, Third Place and Honorable Mentions with the art leagues. She does Commissions and has judged High School Art Shows for the National Womens Club. She has exhibited in many banks, libraries. Town Hall of Floral Park, Guild Hall in East Hampton, Clayton-Liberatore Gallery in Bridgehampton, N.Y. and Cork Gallery in Lincoln Center. Painting intermittingly over the years while working, it is now her favorite pastime. My work is in private collections in the U.S.A. and abroad.
Carol's paintings are a colorful realism and impressionism of her subjects.
